The glyph is in the opposite corner, but on the railing facing southeast as well. (A second quest marker for this same quest may mark it.) A Veilstone Sconce is on the broken half-wall (which faces southeast). You'll find a ruined area with basically just a floor and half of one wall northeast of the center of the search area. There's a short path leading slightly downward near the precise center of the area it dead-ends at a stone object shaped like a large headstone laying in the corner of a ruined building. Follow the road to the marked search area. Step onto the bank, and you'll find a dirt path leading up to the right. Drop off the waterfall, and keep going straight even as the river bends. Light it, and the glyph will be roughly in the middle of the north wall in the same room.Įxit the shrine, then go back downriver. Inside the shrine, you'll have a few enemies to kill, but once it's clear, you can find a Veilfire Torch along the south wall. Go there, and you'll find the doors to the Shrine of Sylaise. Turn left and you'll see a path that leads east. At the top, continue upriver a bit to find some food drying in the sun. Facing the waterfall, you'll find a ramp in the grass to the right that leads up to the top of the waterfall. You'll find a rift, and a waterfall behind that.
